Placa SPLITBOARD Burton Custom Family Tree 160
What happens when you split the Burton Custom Snowboard in half? You get the Burton Family Tree Custom Splitboard. You're probably rolling your eyes thinking, "Dude, it's about time!" Now you can pay homage to the Custom by skinning to the top, cracking a beer, and slashing pow on the way down. A good core gives you more, like the FSC™ Certified Super Fly ll™ which makes the Custom Split earth-friendly, durable, and loaded with pop. Pro-Tip™ and the Custom Split's directional shape enable sharp, fast turns at high speeds and tons of float for deep snow. Surf the mountains on the tried-and-true Burton Family Tree Custom Splitboard.
PurePop Camber – Subtle flat zones outside your bindings add pop and playfulness the study response of camber. An early rise at the tip and tail enhance float with a catch-free feel.
Twin Flex – Having a twin flex indicates that your board is perfectly symmetrical in flexibility from tip to tail so you gain a more balanced and predictable ride.
Happy Medium – Ideal for riders who never want to be limited or held back. It provides you with turning precision and cush landings but isn't soft enough to make a fast ride feel squirrely.
Directional – A directional snowboard is the best for turning and charging. Going one direction at a time, you can go ride some pow or big mountain obstacles. Directionals are designed with a flexible/‘softer’ nose and a stiff tail for ample floatation.
Pro Tip™ – A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
FSC™ Certified Super Fly ll™ 700G Core – Strong and lightweight woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength and reduce weight. FSC™ certification ensures that the wood products are harvested from well-managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
Dualzone™ EDG™ – The wood grain is positioned perpendicularly along the toe and heel edges. Engineered Grain Direction provides you with consistent edge-hold and added strength.
Squeezebox – Burton's Squeezebox improves your boards performance by balancing thicker more powerful core sections in with thinner more flexible sections. In translation, Squeezebox enhances your connectivity to your snowboard which will create an amazingly stable, responsive and predictable ride.
Triax™ Fiberglass – This laminate gives the board an asymmetrical flex with lengthwise stiffness. The result is a board that remains smooth and stable.
Sintered WFO – Burton infused specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material. The result is an ultra-durable base that stays fast and furious all season in any conditions.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Frostbite Edges – The edges extend out slightly beneath your bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Regardless of the conditions they make your ride easy, playful and always precise.
Family Tree Series – Renowned Japenese surfboard builder, Takuya "Tappy" Yoshikawa created the wildly colorful graphics for Burton's Family Tree series. Working with colored resins in-house at Burton's Vermont proto-shop, Tappy's designs came to life.
Infinite Ride™ – Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximum pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
Manufacturer Suggestion – Burton suggests equipping this board with the Burton Hitchhiker Bindings and the Burton x G3 High Traction Splitboard Climbing Skins. *Additional interface hardware sold separately at www.voile-usa.com*
Split Channel – Get picky with your splitboarding stance and continue to fine-tune it as the season unfolds. Split Channel is an extremely strong, fast and adjustable mounting system for splitboards. Comes pre-mounted with Channel compatible pucks.
